Good news for passengers coming in and going to Mactan – Cebu Airport, you can now take MyBus from SM Cebu for convenient travel.
Terminal pickup for MyBus in SM City Cebu (the old / first SM) is at the back of Radisson Blu Hotel. While the pick-up at the Mactan Cebu International Airport is at the arrival area.
MyBus SM Cebu to Mactan Airport Daily Schedule
MyBus leaves every 30 minutes starting at 6 AM, last trip is at 8 PM. Travel time from airport to SM Cebu is approximately 1 hour, but you have to consider the intense traffic right now due to bridge renovation work. Expect bottlenecks in Lapu-Lapu side and Mandaue side.
Trips begins 6 AM then 6:30 AM, 7 AM, 7:30 AM, 8 AM, 8:30 AM, 9 AM, etc.,………. until 8 PM last trip SM to airport.
MyBus Daily Schedule from Mactan-Cebu Airport to SM Cebu
First trip is at 7 AM, MyBus last trip is 9 PM from airport to SM. The bus will leave the MCIA every 30 minutes.
So that’s 7 AM, 7:30 AM, 8 AM, 8:30 AM, 9 AM, etc,……. until 9 PM (last trip of MyBus).
MyBus FARE route SM Cebu to Mactan Airport
Regular passenger fare is P25 for this and vice versa. Student’s discounted fare is P20. For Senior Citizen and PWD is also P20.

How to Get MyBus CARD and Details
MyBus Cards or eCards are being sold for P200, with a load of P100. Right now you can buy one MyBus card and use it for everyone. But the company behind this transport service said that soon they will be rolling-out the one MyBus Card per passenger policy.
If you are a frequent traveler to Cebu, it might be best to buy a MyBus card because compared to white or airport yellow taxi, taking the MyBus is cheaper even if you have to pay an initial amount of P200, with only P100 load.
MyBus Cards are available for buying in Mactan Airport, SM Cebu, and SM Seaside. Minimum reload amount for MyBus card is P100.
You can also use MyBus Card load in buying from ePlus.ph accredited merchants like SM Cinema, Star City, select SM Food Court tenants, Wendy’s, Chef Tony’s, SM Bowling, SM Skating, Exploreum, etc.

It’s useless for foreigners like myself arriving in Cebu, being forced to buy a card. Cash should be allowed on airport route for non locals, this is obvious

If there are mybuses everywhere, and removing all jeepney routes in the city, then we may have solved our traffic congestion problem.

Yes. Difficult to understand. Tourists only use the route twice. So unless you are travelling with 7 people or more, it’s cheaper to take a taxi. I should think that the airport route should be an exception as it is in many other countries. Having said that, the service is very good.
