April 23, 2016.. Nonito Donaire won via Knockout in Cebu, the queen city of the south. He retained the WBO Superbantamweight title versus Zsolt Bedak !!!
Thousands of fans come to witness this great event here in Cebu Sports complex. And the crowd wen’t home happy by the result even if the main event was just a 3 rounder thanks to the superb punching power of Donaire
Donaire won on the 2 minute 44 seconds of the third round. Referee Russell Mora stopped the fight and awarded the fight to Donaire via TKO!!!

Nonito started the fight by giving calculated blows. Donaire uses a counter left. the Hungarian misses a right, Donaire counters with a left.
But the Filipino Flash got hot immediately on the second round.
Donaire floored Bedak with a flurry of left hooks. Bedak got up but was again battered by Donaire’s brutal combinations. another powerful left hook flattened Bedak as the bell rings.
On the third round, Donaire icreases his rhythm. With a 1-2 combination punch, Bedak attacks but gets clipped with an uppercut on his way in, a great counter by the Filipino Flash. Bedak was bloodied and seems that he can’t continue to fight any longer!!!
Nonito finally got the best of the Hungarian champion and finally won by Technical Knock Out!!
