For tennis lovers, watching a Davis Cup match live and on court side is like having a dream come true. Well, these dreams can really come true when you go to the see the matches in the Davis Cup 2013 in Lapu-Lapu City in Mactan island this February 1-3.
The competitors there might not be the world renowned tennis stars such as the Williams Sisters or the newly crowned Australian Open men’s champion Novak Djokovic, but every match is surely be a must see, for our very own Philippine team will be competing in the said event.

- Roland Peter Kraut ( Team Captain)
Conrad Huey is a must see for he is currently at the 35th position in the word for doubles event.
Their opponents will be Team Syria which is composed of these players:

- Majdi Salim
- Yacoub Makzoume
- Feras Dahbos (Team Captain)
Both teams belong to the Asia/Oceana Group II.

Where will the Davis Cup 2013 be held?
The venue for the Davis Cup 2013 in Cebu will be held at the Plantation Bay Resort and Spa in Lapu-Lapu City.
This Mactan Resort Hotel was also the host for the Davis Cup last March 4-6, 2011.
When is Davis Cup Cebu 2013?
The Davis Cup Cebu 2013 will be held on February 1-3 2013. Matches start at 3 in the afternoon.
- February 1 (Friday) will have 2 Singles matches.
- February 2 (Saturday) will only have 1 Doubles Match.
- March 3 (Sunday) will feature 2 reverse Singles Mathes
How much are the tickets for the Davis Cup Cebu 2013?
What’s great about this tennis event is that it is FREE to the public.
There are no entrance fees or tickets to be payed. This will allow our fellow Cebuanos to see world class tennis matches right in our own backyard. So better bring your whole family and barkada with you during matches and give Team Philippines the cheers that will inspire them more to go for the gold.
